Vagenius on tour - Aotearoa to Garamilla

A little bit scared; a little bit excited, we packed our cases with pens, hats and tatts, to go on our first mission 'abroad'. Hundreds (yes hundreds) of gynaes, GPs, and other health professionals were converging to chat clinical. First up Wellington - New Zealand/Aotearoa and then to Garamilla/Darwin. Many of these amazing clinicians are interested in Women's Health in particular, (thank goodness), and we found their feedback and genuine interest validating. We felt more inspired to do more of what we are doing; online women's pelvic health training. We were there to promote Persistent Pelvic Pain - Leadership in Care our latest course.

They could ask our resident Pelvic Health Physio, Rachel Andrew, anything 'pelvicky' (plus she brought her pelvis model and a few tools). "I didn't know you did that to treat persistent pelvic pain!" How are these tools used by a patient for self-care?" Sent off with a 'Viva la Vulva' or, 'From Chaos to Calm' tattoo, we thought that was the was the end of it. But so many came back for more, or sent their colleagues to our booth, to find out more (or just for a tattoo).

Thank you to RANZCOG and ACRRM for a great opportunity to meet your curious and engaged members. Thanks to our new community of supporters.
